hi, i’m nick 👋

My name is Nick Aleck, and I am a passionate and results-driven UX Leader with a strong background in finance, healthcare and SaaS organizations. With recent experiences at DocuSign,  JPMorgan Chase and the American Medical Association, I feel my varied experience can bring a fresh perspective to the role, as well.  Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in leading product teams, driving innovative digital products from ideation to launch, and spearheading impactful research initiatives—most notably at the American Medical Association's Improving Health Outcomes department.

My experience spans over 12 years in design and 5 years in leadership roles. I have had the privilege of leading product and design efforts for high-impact projects, such as centralizing and incorporating AI technologies for Reporting and Notifications at DocuSign, integrating Google Docs into DocuSign's Contract Lifecycle Management tool, and developing the AMA Map BP On Demand Experience and Validate BP resource website at the American Medical Association. I also contributed to the redesign of the AMA homepage, which involved defining and refining design systems, working within component-based designs, and building design patterns. These experiences have helped me cultivate best practices in journey mapping, cross-team workshops, and prototyping, as well as collaborating closely with AI, research, and product teams to deliver cohesive, user-centered solutions.

As a dedicated product leader, I am always seeking new challenges that inspire growth and innovation. I take great pride in my proactive approach to professional development and my ability to inspire fresh perspectives in design thinking. I have organized and led design workshops that encourage creative exploration, promote continuous improvement, and foster a culture of open dialogue. By involving cross-functional teams and executive leadership, I ensure that our design solutions are informed by diverse perspectives and aligned with broader business goals.
